To step up the excitement this Sinulog weekend the premier business district of Cebu, Cebu Business Park, and the region’s premier destination for shopping and dining, Ayala Center Cebu, have orchestrated several events to add up to the Sinulog festivity.
The Sinulog Sound Series from Jan. 13 to 15 will be held at the Sumilon Road of Cebu Business Park (behind of CIC). The Sinulog Sound Series will feature several sought-after bands and local and international djs at night, and food stalls and bazaar booths all day.
On Jan. 13, Friday at 8 in the evening, Franco will hold a concert at the park. The hottest local bands; Nikki J, Powerspoonz, Foc Fashion, Sugbuwanon and Who’s Next will also be there to start off the night.
On Jan. 14, Saturday, Clothes for Life Foundation will show off creations by Cebu’s top designers from 7 to 9 p.m. On the same night, Boracay Rhum and Havianas Flipflop party starts at 9 p.m. featuring Singapore’s DJ Misty and DJ John.
Finally on Jan. 15, Sunday, anyone can get a bird’s eye view of the Sinulog celebration by taking off on a helicopter ride with Y101’s “Eye in the Sky” at Pescadores Road of Cebu Business Park (also behind CIC).
At night everyone will stop and gather to countdown the minutes to the most-awaited grand fireworks display dubbed Symphony of Fire at 9 p.m.
Soon after the fireworks display the party continues with local bands and guest all-girl band General Luna rocking until midnight. An encore of the guest DJs from the Flipflop party will once again grace the crowd to spin music until dawn.
